• Be sure to disconnect garden hoses or any other devices you may have connected to outdoor hose bibs.  If these are left connected, water can collect and freeze causing the pipe to burst.  This is not covered in warranty so be sure to disconnect your hoses.
• If there should be a power issue, remember that the emergency number for your electrician is listed in your breaker box.
• If you do lose power, remember that your fireplace has battery power that is located underneath it.  Install two D batteries and your fireplace will be up and running in no time.  When power is restored please remove batteries to prevent corrosion.
