In less than two years our Wolf Chase community has flourished during one of the most difficult times ever seen for the home building business.  We believe that in addition to building a quality home this success can be attributed to the exciting area that surrounds this Hendersonville community.  We at Windsor Aughtry could brag about our great neighborhood but we’d rather talk about some of the attractions that our residents get to enjoy every day.

• Lake Lure – Located just fifteen minutes away from Wolf Chase, Lake Lure is a beautiful scenic resort nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina.  People come here from all over the country to enjoy a week at the lake with the family.  Upon closer look you may notice that it is the location for the popular film Dirty Dancing.

  

• Burnt Shirt Vineyard – In minutes you can be at this popular vineyard of 25 acres. Family owned, Burntshirt produces 1800 cases of wine a year.  They offer tastings there seven days a week and often have live local music.
• Apple Country – Hendersonville is known throughout the country as one of the top apple producing regions.  There are several orchards within 20 minutes of Wolf Chase.  Hendersonville also holds its annual Apple Festival every Labor Day weekend.
