If You’ve Just Moved to River Stone, Get Ready for Halloween!

If you are new to River Stone, there is something you should know.  Halloween is big in your neighborhood.  This Friday night, the ghouls and goblins will be out in full force and you might want to stock up on treats.  As our neighborhood gets bigger, there are more children and every year this events gets a little spookier.  Here are three reminders to help you prepare for a Happy Halloween.

1. Drive Carefully

There will be children in masks driven mad by the prospect of free candy.  They could run out in the street so be sure to put grandmother and granddaughter making halloween pumpkindown the cell phone, turn on your headlights,  and watch the road.

2. Make Sure Your Lights are On.

With small children in costumes hauling bags up to your door step, please make sure their paths are well lit.   Plus the more lights the safer the experience is throughout the neighborhood.

3. Add Reflective Tape to Costumes or Treat Bags!

It is probably a good idea to wrap up the trick or treating before dark but it never hurts to make the little ghouls and goblins easier to see.  Adding reflective tape helps out those drivers on the road after sundown.

Halloween is so big in River Stone that it has become famous around the Fletcher area. People come to River Stone who don’t even live there to let their kids trick or treat.  So if you are new to the community, get some extra candy, and be ready for big time Friday night. Happy Halloween and be safe!
