Windsor/Aughtry Agent Joins Southwest Airlines Service Announcement

October 20, 2010 – Greenville, SC – On Wednesday, Southwest Airlines announced its service start date and flight routes for its newest destination – Greenville, SC. Following the announcement, attendees were offered tours of a Southwest 737 airplane. Windsor-Aughtry Agent, Rob Howell, was among the first to board, seen in the photo below. 

“Southwest has an impressive fleet, great customer service and offers convenient service across the United States,” said Howell. “The introduction of service to the Upstate will be a huge asset to the business and tourism industries. I am proud to have been at the announcement today and look forward to March 13th when the first Southwest flight departs from GSP.

Beginning March 13, 2011, Southwest will offer two flights daily to Chicago and Baltimore/Washington. There will also be once daily flights to Orlando, Nashville and Houston.

  1. This opens the door to so many new opportunities and potential clients who can be reached with a direct flight. I can’t wait for them to start service.

  2. That Rob Howell is something. First the SouthWest Airlines article and now…the Polar Plunge. He must know somebody..
